Timetables and tickets

Buses and trolleybuses

Public transport timetables and routes are most conveniently accessed via mobile apps such as Trafi or m.Ticket (available on App Store and Google Play). These apps provide real-time schedules, route planning, and ticket purchase options. You can purchase tickets in the following ways:

  • Contactless payment (recommended): You can pay directly on board by tapping your contactless bank card or smartphone on the yellow card reader. This automatically purchases a 60-minute ticket.
  • Mobile apps: 30-minute, 60-minute, and multi-day tickets are available.
  • Transport card: The Vilniečio kortelė can still be purchased at kiosks (‘Narvesen’, ‘Lietuvos spauda’), shopping centers, or customer service points.

Ticket prices (approximate, 2026):

  • 30-minute ticket: ~1.00 EUR
  • 60-minute ticket: ~1.50 EUR

Tickets are time-based and allow transfers within the selected time period. Reduced fares apply for eligible students (with valid ISIC).
